The first step is to identify the correct base for your generation. If you are searching for a w205 steering wheel, you need to separate W205 from the other generations, because the shape, controls and some options vary depending on the model year.
The W205 splits into two groups. You need to check whether your car is the pre-facelift version or the facelift version with touch controls, because the spoke layout and the way the controls are integrated are not the same.
The W206 uses a more recent architecture, with an interface specific to the newer generation. Here too, compatibility depends on the equipment originally fitted to the vehicle.
